I can’t say I’m in a mood to celebrate anything, but a picnic is always nice.

We picnic’ed at Hammarskog together with my mum. Afterwards, my brother also joined us for a game of Mysterium and a barbecued dinner. (I can’t call it an actual barbecue because the weather was quite chilly so we sat indoors; the only thing outside was the grill itself.)

Midsummer’s Eve. Cloudy, chilly, and with rain showers, so we will skip the traditional celebrations. Not that we’re really particularly interested in them, anyway. But it would have been nice to be outside at least…

But we still get the good Midsummer meals. Potato salad, devilled eggs, herring, home made ice cream and raspberry cheesecake.

Midsummer Eve was cold and rainy. We didn’t even attempt to celebrate it outdoors. No picnic, no maypole, no SmĂ„ grodorna. We had a Midsummer lunch inside, and played board games and watched a movie.

Picnic, strawberries, dancing around the maypole, and a train ride with Lennakatten, a museum train near Uppsala.
