Here it is: the House.
The house is from 1906. It is yellow and clad in wood panelling and has a gambrel roof.
It has a leafy garden, a veranda at the rear and a small patio at the front.

Adorable!
We think so, too!
What a cute place! It’s the kind of cheery house that makes you smile whenever you see it. Can’t wait to see what you do with it. =)
Do you have lantana there? (http://pubs.caes.uga.edu/caespubs/horticulture/Gold%20Medal%20Winners/GoldMedal-2003/Miss%20Huff%20Lantana%201.jpg) A couple pots of that are just what it needs.
armas oma Segasummasuvila Ingridile:-)
have a beautiful life there!
Laura – I don’t think we have lantanas in Sweden, or at least I don’t think I’ve ever seen a plant like that.
The garden has been mostly ignored by the current owners (except for mowing the lawn) so we’ll have a fair amount of room for experimentation. I’m thinking of forsythias (http://www.fantasticplants.com/Merchant2/graphics/00000001/x%20Forsythia%20'Lynwood%20Gold'2.jpg) to complement the yellow house, or maybe rhododendrons as a contrast. Magnolias are nice too, although they grow quite large…
What a beautiful house! Congratulations, and hope you and your family build many happy memories there over the years.
