Until now Ingrid has had the foresight to only be really sick on the days when I am at home anyway, for one reason or another (weekends, days off or work from home days). But we do get some number of days per year for taking care of children as well. I have to say my employer is really really good at that kind of thing.

Do you get to take sick days from work? I just found out I have to take annual leave if the child is sick. A bit sucky.
