Hi, I love your dinosaur costume! I’m gojng to be making a costume similar to this very soon. I just wondered what you made the tail from and the ‘spikes’ on the back?

Thank you – I’m glad you like the costume!

I used cheap craft felt for both the tail and the spikes – I think it’s half polyester, half wool. The felt was on the thin side so for the spikes I used 2 layers, with a layer of stiff heavy-weight interfacing between them, because I wanted the spikes to stand up and not flop down.
