I’m experimenting with a daily photography project. I’ve managed to keep it up through an entire working week so it seems to be doable. Therefore it’s time to put it out here.

We went on a forest walk today. Ingrid climbed a huge tree.

I was sewing. Adrian climbed up to keep me company.

iPads are captivating.

Ingrid has been working on a plush monster for Adrian’s birthday. Today she finished it.

Things that will not wake a sleeping kid:

• Carrying them from one bed to another
• Leading them to the toilet and back to bed
• Rolling out of bed onto the floor
• Changing their pyjamas and the entire bedding

Things that will wake a sleeping mum:

• Sneezing in the room next door
• Anybody walking anywhere
• Touching the door handle

Sometimes the afternoon fruit snack is too far away and the kids need an emergency banana straight after school.
