I&#8217;ve let the grass under the cherry tree grow until now to let the cowslips propagate, but now it&#8217;s time to prepare for cherry season. Picking cherries (and picking getting rid of bird-eaten half-rotten cherries on the ground) is much easier with shorter grass. Now I skip the parts with a lot of clover, or wild strawberries.
