It shone quite spectacularly in the setting sun, in contrast to the dark pines surrounding it.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/helen\/blog\/images\/daily_4\/3990_Kinkakuji_1.jpg\" class=\"x6y45\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/helen\/blog\/images\/daily_4\/3990_Kinkakuji_2.jpg\" class=\"x45y6\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The pavilion was situated on the edge of a small lake. It looks so effortlessly beautiful.
