{"id":15842,"date":"2022-07-20T20:27:56","date_gmt":"2022-07-20T19:27:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.toomik.net\/helen\/blog\/?p=15842"},"modified":"2023-06-01T21:05:50","modified_gmt":"2023-06-01T20:05:50","slug":"daily_2723_-_climbing_at_otepaa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.toomik.net\/helen\/blog\/2022\/07\/20\/daily_2723_-_climbing_at_otepaa\/","title":{"rendered":"Daily: 2723 &#8211; climbing at Otep\u00e4\u00e4"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The annual trip to Estonia isn&#8217;t complete without an outing to Otep\u00e4\u00e4 adventure park. 11 years after our first visit (when I was pregnant with Adrian and not allowed to do any of the fun stuff so Ingrid was the only climber) and it&#8217;s still fun.<\/p>\n<p>Both kids are now tall and agile enough to manage all the ordinary tracks. There used to be special track labelled the &#8220;path of suffering&#8221; but I saw it has been removed. I guess not enough people cared for all the suffering. None of us three had ever tried it; the initial rope climb straight up was more than enough to deter us.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/helen\/blog\/images\/daily_3\/2723_climbing_1.jpg\" class=\"x45y6\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/helen\/blog\/images\/daily_3\/2723_climbing_2.jpg\" class=\"x45y6\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/helen\/blog\/images\/daily_3\/2723_climbing_3.jpg\" class=\"x45y6\" \/><br \/>\nThe highlight of the last, fifth track is the rather spectacular &#8220;Tarzan leap&#8221;, where you hold on to a thick rope and swing from a platform about 10 metres above ground, to catch yourself in a net 20 metres away. (With a safety harness of course.)
