{"id":12955,"date":"2020-06-24T19:22:19","date_gmt":"2020-06-24T18:22:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.toomik.net\/helen\/blog\/?p=12955"},"modified":"2020-07-19T21:53:12","modified_gmt":"2020-07-19T20:53:12","slug":"adrian_summer_2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.toomik.net\/helen\/blog\/2020\/06\/24\/adrian_summer_2020\/","title":{"rendered":"Adrian, summer 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A mostly unorganized list of Adrian&#8217;s current favourites based on my interview with him.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Book: <i>Kalle Anka<\/i>, both Pockets and the thin magazines\n<\/li>\n<li>Good night stories: Supilinna salaselts with me, His Dark Materials with Eric (although in Swedish and not English)\n<\/li>\n<li>Music: no absolute favourite, though he does like Queen, especially after we watched <i>Bohemian Rhapsody<\/i>\n<\/li>\n<li>Movies: Shaun the Sheep, and The Lord of the Rings\n<\/li>\n<li>Movie character: Legolas, because no matter what he does, he does it in a cool way\n<\/li>\n<li>TV series: Mandalorian, His Dark Materials\n<\/li>\n<li>YouTuber: CaptainSauce\n<\/li>\n<li>Video games: Subnautica. Blazing Beaks together with Eric. Horizon Zero Dawn he enjoys but paused because he arrived at a boss that looks hard to beat. Mostly he likes trying out new games and then loses interest after a week or two.\n<\/li>\n<li>Board games: Catan, Small World, Bondespelet\n<\/li>\n<li>Food to cook: making pasta\n<\/li>\n<li>Food to eat: pasta with a pea sauce; spring rolls and dumplings.\n<\/li>\n<li>Drink: Innocent&#8217;s apple and raspberry juice\n<\/li>\n<li>Fruit: raspberries, strawberries and paraguayo peaches\n<\/li>\n<li>Sweet: chocolate, mud cake and brownies\n<\/li>\n<li>Ice cream flavour: Adrian hasn&#8217;t eaten enough ice cream yet this year to have a favourite\n<\/li>\n<li>Friends: Elvira and Hanna. The best thing to do together with them is &#8220;just hanging out&#8221;.\n<\/li>\n<li>Subject at school: art, and woodworking. He likes building random things without instructions, and enjoys the wide range of materials and tools available at school.\n<\/li>\n<li>Activity at after-school care: building Legos, playing in the sandbox, drawing, and Ubongo, and &#8220;me and Elvira chase Silas&#8221;.\n<\/li>\n<li>Clothes: oversized t-shirts, soft socks with food patterns, and fluffy fleeces. He also loves the banana t-shirt we recently bought, and misses the cinnamon bun t-shirts he had as a baby.\n<\/li>\n<li>Body part: his big toes, &#8220;because they are big&#8221;\n<\/li>\n<li>Color: green\n<\/li>\n<li>Job when grown up: none. Adrian would instead like to be a pig when he grows up &#8211; one of those mini pigs who are kept as pets and don&#8217;t get eaten.\n<\/li>\n<li>Superpower: take out things from pictures and movies and make them real; and to be stretchy, because &#8220;I can&#8217;t reach and I don&#8217;t have the energy to walk&#8221;\n<\/li>\n<li>Season: summer, autumn, winter, spring\n<\/li>\n<li>Place in the house: sofas\n<\/li>\n<li>Animal: koalas and narwhals, like last year\n<\/li>\n<li>Coolest things, if only they existed: aliens with cool gadgets and zappers och UFOs and universal translators\n<\/li>\n<li>Thing he wishes we could do this summer: visit Estonia and go to Otep\u00e4\u00e4 adventure park\n<\/li>\n<li>Looking forward to in 4th grade: &#8220;the club&#8221; (which is the bigger kid version of after-school care) and meeting Kristian, his favourite after-school teacher\n<\/li>\n<li>Shoe size: 36\n<\/li>\n<li>Clothes size: 140\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.toomik.net\/helen\/blog\/2019\/07\/01\/adrians_favourites\/\">Here is last year&#8217;s list.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A mostly unorganized list of Adrian&#8217;s current favourites based on my interview with him.
